How to find your Telegram channel id
  • Public channel: use the public username, for example @your_channel.
  • Private channel: add the selected bot as admin, post a temporary message, then use the AI Social Poster verification helper to detect access.
  • Advanced/manual method: forward a channel message to a Telegram raw update/info bot, or use Bot API getUpdates after adding your own bot and posting in the channel.
  • Numeric channel ids usually start with -100, for example -1001234567890.
  • Never share bot tokens publicly.
